The SAP Developer is responsible for SAP development within our
S4/Hana implementation effort. The SAP Developer works closely with
our System Integration partner to define requirements and solve
development tasks, ensuring successful completion of the project.
This position works within our development operations (DevOps)
group.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
as business needs determine:
- Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group
Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence, and
Teamwork), Passionate Performance, and promote teamwork at all
times.
- Application development in UI5 /Custom Fiori applications
- Design, code, test, debug ABAP programming including
Enhancements, Reports, Forms, ABAP Web Dynpro, Object Oriented
programming and Workflows per specification and guidelines.
- Knowledge of SAP extensibility and ability to research and
recommend technical solutions
- IDOC and EDI development support
- Interface SAP to additional applications in the Pacific Seafood
Ecosystem
- Strong programming knowledge in SAP modules such as Sales and
Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning and
Finance-Controlling modules.
- Mentor and train additional SAP developers and users as
needed
- Interface with users to determine functional requirements
- Provide weekly status reports on tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information
Systems, or a related field, along with 5 years of related SAP
development experience is required.
- Experience with Boomi or other API/ETL tools preferred
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and ABAP is
required.
- Knowledge of BRF , and latest ABAP syntax a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
are necessary.
Education:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years proven SAP Development Experience.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Applicable experience in food industry or
manufacturing/distribution organization preferred.
- Experience using formal project management methodology.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, results-oriented
environment.
Skills/Abilities:

required.

Availability:
- Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for
domestic and international travel.
