Job Description:
Overview Are you looking to raise the bar on efficient and
progressive station builds? You can make an impact to your
community by supporting the overall Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue
on our Capital Projects team! The Capital Projects Coordinator
supports the capital projects program by maintaining the pulse of
projects, coordinating a wide range of tasks and keeping track of
project timelines and budget.The successful candidate will begin
with focusing on in-progress and upcoming fire station building
projects, working with a wide array of experts. What does this look
like? The selected candidate would be involved through every phase
of project management from the planning meeting to celebrating at
the close out.The individual in this position will join a dynamic
and skilled group of professionals in the LogisticsDivision.

of Duties The responsibilities of this position may include (but
are not limited to): Support kicking off the master planning phase
by providing input and recommendations to the Capital Projects
Manager while coordinating cost, timeline, and resource estimates.
Coordinate and facilitate conversations and record input from
internal steering committees. Be part of the documentation hub!
Ensure that documentation is in place for all projects, including
architectural drawings, specifications, contractual expectations,
and other important project documents. Keep our projects moving by
tracking, drafting, and monitoring important project
administration. This includes project activities, drafting permit
applications, drafting scope and time expectations, and documenting
approvals for any changes or addendums. Coordinate the handover
process, including gathering final inspections/approvals,
officially transferring over maintenance to staff, and compiling
and organizing all documentation for the project. Lastly,

Associate degree, preferably in a related field, with formal
training in project management. A high school diploma or equivalent
with an industry-recognized project management certification (e.g.,
PMP, CAPM, PMI Agile) will be considered in lieu of an associate
degree. EXPERIENCE Three years of experience in which predominant
work involved performing applied project management skills.
Experience in capital construction projects preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES Industry-recognized project management

Compensation The monthly salary range within a step system for this
position is $7,042 - $9,528 per month. The starting pay assignment,
based on a candidate's bona fide factor analysis in accordance with
the District's pay equity system and the Oregon Equal Pay Act,
would be no higher than $8,443 per month. TVF&R evaluates each
applicant in regard to meeting minimum qualifications as well as
preferred qualifications based exclusively on information provided
on the job application, including work history and responses to
