A to Z Wineworks, located at their REX HILL property in Oregon s
Willamette Valley, seeks cellar interns for the 2024 vintage. This
paid seasonal position will run from around mid-August through
early November but is dependent on the growing season. Official
harvest timing will be shared as the season progresses.The Oregon
brands of A to Z Wineworks, REX HILL and Erath are proud to be a
part of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). Established 20, 40 and
over 50 years respectively, these three wineries have independently
earned reputations for creating classic Oregon wines of quality and
value. Together with SMWE s California and Washington wineries, our
group of wineries include some of the finest wines in the world and
we truly value our vineyards and the art of winemaking. This focus
has resulted in our ability to offer our consumers extraordinary
and distinctive wines from some of the best regions in the world.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Grape receival
- Pump-over and Pulsair cap management.
- Tank dig outs.
- Pressing, racking, transfers, barrel work, inoculations, wine
movement, juice, must and wine additions.
- Wide variety of cleaning tasks.
- Willingness to become certified to operate a forklift;
experience forklift operation is preferred.Position Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which will include long
hours, overtime, weekend work and six-day work weeks during the
peak of harvest.
- Comfort working in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand and move for a least 10 hours, ability to
lift, bend, rotate, move and carry up to 45 pounds over the course
of your shift on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work on catwalks.
- Work well within a team environment and work with individuals
from a wide range of backgrounds in a respectful manner that is
consistent with our company values.Your Compensation: The starting
hourly rate is $19.00 per hour. Hourly rate for interns with
additional years of experience is dependent on the number of
harvests completed and can go up to $22.00 per hourAt A to Z

experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
