Compiles the regulatory compliance components of department. Obtains insurance authorizations and provides updates on coding and billing procedures for department. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact. Applies substantial knowledge and experience to perform a wide range of advanced activities and/or determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals; serves as working supervisor for team or work group.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:* High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred* Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred* Five years' relevant experience: PreferredEssential Functions:* Manages staff competency completion. Monitors staff compliance with documentation, billing, staff requirements and continuing education* Coordinates daily activities and functions of PI program. Manages ongoing authorization for Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) and worker's compensation insurances.* Maintains monthly statistics, physician referrals, insurance verifications and authorization. Monitors productivity and charge accuracy.* Reviews patient charts for accuracy and treatment outcomes.* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
