growing our Asia sales, installation and service operations.
The RoleThe role of GM for DWFritz Asia will be based in Shanghai,
China. This role will lead the efforts to optimize, extend and grow
our sales, service and support business for clients with advanced
manufacturing solutions in Asia. This position will report directly
to the President functioning as a key part of the senior management
team and will proactively interface with colleagues both at
DWFritz's headquarters in the USA and DWFritz's Asia business
efforts. While our brand recognition is still growing, we partner
with some of the most successful and well-known companies in the
world in the consumer electronics, electric vehicle, automotive,
medical device, and aerospace industries. For our existing clients,
you will deliver day-to-day world class service by supporting our
customers' production targets, delivering on commitments,
evaluating risks, implementing contingency plans and communicating
with stakeholders throughout. In doing so you willdeepen our
partnerships with clients and contract manufacturers and provide
insights into other opportunities. This position will also
facilitate the development of our first sales team int the China
market as an extension of our US diversification efforts with
platforms and products developed for customers requiring agile,
high performance metrology tools and precision automation.Principal
- Provide strategic leadership and overall business direction and
consistency to enhance productivity, quality and customer
satisfaction with current operations in over 17 locations across

department, site and company goals in installation, service
support, quality and others standards (key performance
- Lead DWFritz Asia team of approximately 325 people including
site managers, applications engineers, sales, service and corporate
office support staff in a manner that results in high morale,
improved skills proficiency and productivity. Assure quality and
timely hiring, selection, supervision, training, scheduling work,
resolving problems and driving direction, discipline and
- Effectively manage in a matrixed organization with corporate
services such as HR/Finance/IT/Supply Chain/Operations reporting
directly to the US with dotted line responsibilities for dayto-day
support and a focus on results.
- Develop and implement the short- and long-term strategic and
business plans/processes to deliver and exceed revenue growth
targets for sales and service in China.
- Establish an in-country sales and marketing team to develop and
deploy a regional go-to-market strategy for our automation and
inspection platforms and products, including the appropriate mix
between direct and distribution partners. Drive execution of the
product strategy and tactics to achieve growth and serve as the
DWFritz brand ambassador in the APAC region.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities for growth, engage
cross-division capabilities to drive business development
opportunities for key and emerging vertical market segments.
- Establish collaborative, effective and trusting relationships
with key internal business leaders and functions (finance, human
resources, operations and supply chain) to ensure a free flow of
information and ideas. This leader will collaborate across the
organization at the Strategic Business Unit level as well as at the
corporate level, so situational leadership and influence across the
organization is vital. Support a "one team, one success"
- Provide DWFritz manufacturing and other internal stakeholders
with accurate, timely feedback for continuous improvement and
product enhancement. Keep an eye on our ability to scale for growth
balanced with our signature engineering quality and design assuring
we stay aligned with critical customer requirements.
- Work closely with DWFritz corporate to prepare accurate and
up-to-date project records, and other control records necessary for
processing of internal and external reports. Utilize financial
systems to review actual vs. budgeted costs and provide timely and
accurate financial reports.
- Pro-actively communicate with and seek feedback from all
customers, supply chain partners to ensure that we are providing
quality installations and service and meeting their individual
needs. Work intimately with contractor manufacturers to eliminate
roadblocks to success.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the
highest ethical standards and in compliance with company's Code of
Business Conduct, as well as ensure governmental compliance and

- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering and/or related
technology discipline with a sound knowledge of Asian manufacturing
