Note: Due to COVID-19, all Arkatechture employees are working remotely through July 2021 Job Description The Lead Technical Business Analyst is a hybrid role that blends the skills of a traditional business analyst with those of a data analyst. The function of a technical business analyst is to bridge between business and technical teams. This is accomplished by analyzing and developing integrated software solutions that align information technology systems with business operations. The Lead Technical BA is also a mentorship role with oversight responsibilities for junior to mid-level business and data analysts. This position has the possibility to be full time remote.--

Key Responsibilities
    • Act as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure scope is clearly defined and requirements are met
    • Analyze system and enterprise architecture, interpret the information and suggest improvements based on domain expertise--
    • Develop, implement and advise team on frameworks for requirements documentation, technical artifact creation and overall solution implementation in collaboration with enterprise architects
    • Act as steward for all business and technical artifact templates and facilitate feedback loop for improvements from both business and technical teams
    • Mentor junior to mid-level analyst resources both in career progression as well as with technical analyst skills
    • Able to travel to client sites when necessary Skills Knowledge and Expertise Requirements--
      • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience.
      • 10+ years of business/data analyst experience in a software development environment
      • 10+ years of experience with database environments or as a member of an enterprise data team
      • 2+ years of experience in a mentoring/management role
      • Domain breadth and expertise within Banking vertical is required
      • Robust technical writing skills that are clear for business teams but also detail oriented enough for developers
      • Experience gathering requirements and conducting requirements sessions (active and measurable, something around interfacing w/ business teams)
      • Proficient with modern relational database systems like Snowflake
      • Proven experience analyzing operational processes, documenting through supporting workflows/relationship diagrams and effectively implementing changes to improve overall process efficiency
      • Expert SQL skills including data profiling, view development and stored procedures
      • Solid critical thinking skills
      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Professional interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent presentation skills
      • Ability to effectively work both autonomously as well as on a team
        
        Preferred Experience
        • Working with remote teams (possibly in different timezones)
        • Consulting background
        • Experience working with teams in an agile environment (Jira is a plus)
