Job Description:



Service Technician I
The Service Technician I will work on components and parts related to all open Return Materials Authorization (RMAs) in a timely manner to achieve optimum customer satisfaction. This role will work within the Service and Support team and will report verbally on daily repairs to ensure RMA status updates are made.
Service Technician I Job Duties:
--- Perform soldering, product assembly, update firmware and test products
--- Collaborate with the service and support team
--- Practice polite, professional, and ethical communication methods with internal team at all times
--- Maintain RMA turnaround times as well as service level response time
--- Perform debugging, testing, and installation of product lines with or without BKM (Best Known Method) instructions
--- Perform and evaluate the effectiveness of repairs with or without BKM
--- Process outgoing RMA's to shipping department using company ERP tracking system
--- Analyze product return data to ensure its integrity and alert the necessary teams of discrepancies that could disrupt operations or impact customer experience
--- Demonstrate focus-driven execution without interruptions and start tasks with a targeted completion date
--- Demonstrate teamwork
Job Requirements:
--- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent 3 years of equivalent experience
--- Experience processing electro-mechanical product returns
--- Experience in electrical/electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
--- Ability to solder, assemble products, update firmware and test products
--- Requires a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
--- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
--- Adaptable to a fast-paced, small startup technical environment
--- Proficient in MS Office 365 tools including Outlook and Excel
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
--- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP

Teamwork Physical Requirements and working conditions:
