Job Description Meduri Farms, Inc. Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Dallas, OR 97338Job Type: Full-TimeSalary: $17hrJob Description: Safely drive a forklift while keeping up with the needs of production. Responsibilities:

• Check forklift's vital fluids before shift and fill out forklift check list form.
• Move empty totes so production workers can dump fruit in them.
• Move full totes of product to location determined by supervisor
• Retrieve syrup containers of the correct variety of syrup as instructed by supervisor or lead
• Keep production area clean by removing totes and pallets of garbage/ recyclable materials (cardboard, plastics)
• Bring correct pallets of fruit to be dumped
• Keep forklift in good/clean condition
• Do general production work when asked to by the supervisorEmployment Requirements:
  • Ability to read write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Pass the forklift written and driving test given by qualified examiner
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships.
  • Team player attitude and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklift. Working Conditions: This position also requires the ability to stand, kneel, walk, bend over, and reach as necessary when dealing with totes and tote tags. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds is also required. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work and overtime as needed.
