culture.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Electrical Engineer contributes to
the design, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components,
or systems. Responsible for the installation, programming,
troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electronic systems,
analog/digital systems and components. This person uses measuring
and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts and
ensures systems and components meet established specifications.
Works with Programs, Operations and Product Managers to evaluate,
develop contract deliverables and validate designs. Overall
supervision and tasks are assigned by the Deputy Analytics
Manager.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDesigns, builds, tests,
troubleshoots, repairs and modifies prototype and production
electronic components, parts, equipment, and systemsPCB layout and
design, including component selection and sourcingPrototyping and
assembly of circuit boards for rapid development effortsPrototyping
and assembly of advanced mixed-signal (analog/digital)
systemsAssembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model
according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and
knowledge of electronic systems and componentsMaintains Hardware
Product catalog, testing procedures, illustrated parts breakdown
and partsRecommends changes in circuitry or installation
specifications to simplify assembly and maintenanceSets up standard
test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct
functional, operational, and environmental tests to evaluate
performance and reliability of prototype or production
modelAnalyzes and interprets test dataAdjusts, calibrates, aligns,
and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit
performanceChecks functioning of newly installed equipment to
evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions, as
requiredAs requested, assists project managers with system design,
evaluation and creation of schematics or diagramsAs required,
travels to different sites to assist site/project managers with
system or product setup, and performs functional testsOther duties
as assignedREQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in electrical engineering
or related field requiredTwo years of experience in a related field
or in a related areaIn-depth knowledge and experience with
electrical product design analog and digital electronicsExperience
with Circuit Design, CAD, Altium, Solidworks or other related
design softwareExperience with design, troubleshooting, repairing
and modifying developmental and production electronic components,
parts, equipment, and systemsFamiliar with standard concepts,
practices, and procedures related to fieldAbility to work under
general supervision, self-motivated and well organizedExperience
with Microsoft Office products Word, Outlook, and ExcelAbility to
