What You'll Experience as a Business Systems Analyst at TGG:

  • Achieving business results for our clients in various types of engagements within a variety of industries.
  • Delivering high quality work to our clients within one or more of our service offerings of execution, technology, people, and strategy.

    What You Will Work On:
    • Embracing unstructured work to seek and find structured solutions, utilizing tool kits and best practices to execute and deliver outcomes for clients, while expanding and building upon previous skill sets.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders from multiple business and/or technical functions to define, identify and document business requirements, create process models and develop relevant business cases.
    • Developing an understanding of business systems by analyzing their associated input and output files and data, scripting logic, and other system artifacts.
    • Defining quality attributes, test cases, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
    • Breaking down the complexity of business systems/processes to communicate coherently and effectively the business or technical needs amongst stakeholders with a diversity of subject matter knowledge.
      Who Will You Work With:
      • Client stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to senior executives.
      • A collaborative team of consultants that deliver outstanding client service.
      • TGG partners, principals, account leaders, managers, and staff supporting you to excel within client projects and to achieve your professional development goals.
      • The program / project managers, product owners and other team members to help provide clarity of requirements and how it relates to the business objectives.
        Examples of What You Bring to the Table:
        • 4-8 years of relevant experience.
        • Fundamental and demonstrable understanding of analysis methodologies used in business settings.
        • Have consistently demonstrated the ability to bring structure to complex, unstructured environments.
        • Experience in navigating, communicating, and managing expectations of a variety of stakeholders.
        • The ability to elicit accurate and thorough business requirements and can demonstrate innovation when evaluating the business implications of technology solutions.
        • Motivated by an entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with the ambiguity that is often found within consulting.
        • Working knowledge of SQL.
        • Exposure to data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
        • Effectively disseminate technical requirements and language to business stakeholders, as appropriate, within the clients tool of choice. Tools will vary from client to client, so experience adapting new tools and solutions is preferred.
        • Understand and can effectively track an organization's digital footprint.
        • Experience executing project based work in an agile and/or waterfall environment.
        • Experience working with technology, ERP and CRM experience preferred.

          Salaries vary and are dependent on considerations such as: experience and specific skills/certifications. The base plus target bonus salary range for this role is $90,000- $120,000 . Additional compensation beyond this range is available as a result of leadership and business development opportunities. Salary details are discussed openly during the hiring process.

          Work Environment:

          Our TGG headquarters are located in Portland, Oregon. Due to our current client needs, our consultants must have the ability to work remotely, work onsite, and have the ability to travel for consulting engagements to the markets we serve.
