Multnomah County's Facilities and Property Management Division is
seeking a journey level Electrician to join our team. In this role,
you will perform the full range of electrician duties and work
collaboratively with other trade teams, contractors, and the client
on identifying and resolving electrical systems, issues and / or
improvements.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional customer service and
communication skills. You have experience working in a service van
or maintenance environment. You are comfortable interacting with
people at all levels in an organization, and you thrive in a
dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Multnomah County's Facilities and Property Management Division
Program comprises a broad spectrum of services ensuring Multnomah
County 160 buildings are operating and functioning as designed and
constructed, as well as, meeting the requirements of County
programs and operations. O&M is responsible for operations,
services and projects that are regulated by multiple federal, state
and local laws, codes and regulations.
County Electricians have the option to be on call or not on call.
If the successful candidate chooses to be on call and they live
within the county designated mileage radius there will be a take
home service vehicle assigned. County Electricians do get paid
standby time for when they are on call in addition to being paid
for call outs. It is not mandatory for the successful candidate to
be on call.
The County has an exceptional focus on work life balance with

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This recruitment may be used to fill full-time, part-time,
temporary, limited duration and on-call positions.
Type of Position: This hourly union-represented position is
eligible overtime.
Location: 401 N Dixon St. Portland, OR 97227
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm. There is
flexibility with the start and end times, possibility of 4/10
schedule after the onboarding process.
