As the SAP Functional Lead - Finance (Techno-Functional Analyst) you will manage the design, full configuration, and production support of Pacific Seafood's new SAP system as it relates to setup and upgrades to the SAP FI and CO Modules. You will be supported by multiple Subject Matter Experts (SME's) as this transformational role will oversee many processes that are brand new to Pacific Seafood.

This position is part of the core project team and will spend a great deal of time in planning meetings, defining business process flow, exposing and refining nuances, identifying and resolving issues, getting answers to open questions and working with executive leadership and the Business Process Owner to provide resource and direction to the project.

  Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Defining and documenting business requirements
  • Determining and designing appropriate solutions
  • Configuring and building the SAP solutions
  • Writing functional specification for RICEF change requests and work with development and integration teams in building and testing the solution.
  • Resolve technical and process issues impacting the Finance and Controlling functions.
  • Perform testing to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation, or user's lack of experience.
  • Application support and training of end-users
    
    What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
    
    Required
    
    • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible SAP FI (Finance) and CO (Controlling) experience including:
      • 2 years on SAP S/2HANA
      • Experience as functional consultant on multiple projects including design, build, deploy, and support activities
      • Strong hands-on experience with configuration of SAP FI and CO modules for large, global organizations, conglomerates, and vertically integrated business scenarios. Complex product costing methodology development experience is preferred. Food industry experience strongly preferred.
      • Operational business experience (or good awareness) of underlying business processes related to SAP S/4 HANA FI and CO modules.
      • Prior business experience in Operational Financial Management and/or Cost Accounting in a large firm or global business
      • Hands on Customizing experience managing Budget to Close (BTC) process in SAP S/4 HANA
      • Prior experience managing multiple projects and priorities, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating creative problem resolution skills.
      • Analytical skills showing adeptness at MS Suite including Project, Excel and PowerPoint (Visio a plus).

        • Additional SAP module experience including Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning or Warehouse Management.
