Position Summary:
Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing high quality products and exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. This position will provide support to the Director of FP&A in the company's forecasting and financial planning activities including the annual budgeting process, monthly and quarterly analysis and ad-hoc projects as required. Other activities of the position in support of company-wide FP&A initiatives include, but are not limited to, preparing presentations and capital expenditure analysis. This position acts as a consultant to teams, leaders and other members of the Finance Team in support of optimal business decision making.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job-related tasks to be completed when time permits.

  • Key support person in the annual operating plan preparation, review, analysis, and implementation. Ensure annual budget process meets goals and timelines as required by Senior Leadership.
  • Initiate the capital expenditure process and prepare financial models as well as providing justifications for CapEx requests.
  • Rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecast updates, including cash flows, using Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Align business metrics with segment and corporate objectives and provide appropriate scorekeeping.
  • Provide support and coordination of predictive analysis tools and modeling to assist in driving forecast accuracy.
  • Support the preparation and review of the quarterly segment reporting packages and bridges.
  • Uphold the highest level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Responsible for participating in continuous improvement activities for improved operations of the Finance Team. Problem-solves individually or as part of a group as job duties require. May lead such problem-solving activities.
  • Ensure accuracy of the financial reporting tools
  • Facilitate working capital and cash flow forecasting within the operating company.
  • Performs ad-hoc analysis as part of special projects within the Finance Team as well as on other teams as required.
  • Accountable for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance in assigned area. Responsible for design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including a self-assessment and report to management. Accountable for developing and monitoring processes and practices necessary for legal and ethical compliance in assigned area. Availability Requirements:
    Due to the nature and scope of the essential functions of this position, the importance of personal interactions with coworkers, and the availability of job-related tools, equipment and resources at work, performance of the essential functions requires regular, consistent availability, accessibility, and presence on-site with hybrid schedule available.
    Approximately 40 hours / week may be required to efficiently perform the job duties of this position, including presence at designated internal and external meetings. This position may also require availability and accessibility to respond to and address emergencies and critical situations outside of normal business operating hours in the early mornings, evenings and/or during weekends. Overtime may be scheduled and required to meet departmental needs.
    Required Education and/or Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Business information systems or related field is required.
    • Knowledge of making process improvements utilizing current technology.
    • Participate in the development and production of professional presentations for different audiences including operational financial partners, parent company management and senior team members. Required Qualifications:
      • Strong oral and written communication skills commensurate with the job tasks and position necessary to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers while providing exceptional quality of work and outstanding customer service. Ability to present information in a manner designed to educate or inform other team members and customers in one-on-one or group interactions as directed.
      • Ability to review, comprehend, interpret, process and evaluate effectively written work instructions, documents and procedures written in English, and ability to read engineering drawings in conjunction with the performance of the essential functions and other assigned job duties. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of measurement methods required.
      • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel (Pivot tables, sumifs and lookups). Written variance analysis skills are required.
      • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills including ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a calm, rational and respectful demeanor and communication style in times of stress occasioned by work demands, tight timelines, heavy production expectations, unexpected quality control issues, and other work-related issues or concerns that may cause a heightened level of anxiety, frustration, anger, disappointment, confusion, etc.

        • Environment/Atmospheric Conditions:
          • The work environment conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. This position's job duties are performed generally in an office environment with traditional office lighting and office furniture, as well as consistent and frequent noise, interruptions, and other similar distractions. It may be necessary for a team member in this position to enter a shop environment where they may be exposed to loud noises from operating machinery, cold temperatures, and chemicals and vapors.
