Your Impact:
As a Bridge Design Technician, you'll have the chance to work on
transportation projects that focus on bridge and other
transportation structure design. Each day you will work with a team
of technicians and engineers to create drawings and simulations
using software tools and resources supporting our clients' overall
project goals. Using your experience, you'll work with bridge
engineers and project managers to provide top client service.
You'll also create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D modeling and
electronic drawing files for construction by utilizing
Microstation, AutoCAD, Inroads/OpenRoads, OpenBridge, Civil3D and
other firm-provided resources to create detailed drawings of
transportation structures.

Here's What You'll Need:
A two-year technical degree in CADD
3 years' experience detailing bridges, laying out retaining walls,
and detailing reinforcement and steel.
Experience with Microstation
Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat pdf software
Solid teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment
Ideally, you'll also have:
Experience with InRoads (or OpenRoads), Civil3D, AutoCAD and
ProjectWise
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Structural steel detailing
BrIM
ODOT and Oregon Local Agency Standards
