Job Description:

We are working with an international food manufacturer seeking a Production Manager to oversee their food production operations. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective production processes, managing a team of production staff, and maintaining high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization and help us meet customer demands while adhering to safety regulations and industry best practices.Responsibilities:Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demands, optimize resource allocation, and minimize production downtime.Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to forecast production requirements and plan accordingly.Monitor and adjust production plans as needed to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.Oversee all aspects of the production process, including raw material procurement, equipment utilization, and workflow optimization.Implement efficient production methodologies to maximize productivity and minimize waste.Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.Lead and supervise a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and achieve production targets.Implement and maintain strict quality control standards and procedures throughout the production process.Monitor product quality at various stages of production and take corrective actions when necessary.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to prevent shortages and overstocking.Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize inventory discrepancies.Enforce and promote a culture of safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.Provide training to employees on safety procedures and ensure adherence to safe work practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the food industry.Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
