Warehouse shipping and receiving activities and associates for a
specific shift/area to ensure functions are performed within
Company and Distribution Center guidelines. --Provides excellent
customer service to stores serviced through accurate handling of
the inbound and outbound products.Here is some of what you will
do:Schedule and supervise Inventory Control associates: Assigned
Order Selectors, Receiving, Shipping, or any other Warehouse
personnelControl production standards, the accuracy of inventory,
using proper accuracy programs and systemsProcess store returns and
returns to vendors using proper Company policiesCoordinate with
Inventory Control associates regarding slotting, product rotation,
and space allocation. Maintain daily inventory and accuracy
recordsConduct daily crew meetings to discuss safety, productivity,
and accuracyCommunicate with Transportation on the flow and receipt
of backhaulsSupervise scheduling of inbound load
appointmentsResponsible to sign for, sort, and distribute inbound,
overnight carrier, and mail service deliveriesWalk the warehouse
daily with Superintendent, to ensure that safety, security,
sanitation, and pest control codes, laws, and policies are
maintainedDevelop and maintain a good working relationship with all
departmentsWho should apply?Professionals with the following:Strong
general knowledge of all warehousing operations, with prior work
experience to include a lead person or supervisory duties,
preferably with the CompanyPossess good supervisory skills and the
ability to work with and through others to achieve desired
resultsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to read and interpret computerized reportsYou will have an
analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental
alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work
activities.Possess the ability to concentrate and deal with
frequent interruptions throughout your dayBasic computer skills
required. Microsoft word, excel, and outlook experience

Compensation:UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate
(or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position.
Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors,
including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and
any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.

average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved,
among other factors.UNFI s compensation, benefits, and paid time
off policies are subject to change in the Company s sole
