2AM Shift TimeReceives, stores, and distributes material and products within establishments.Essential Duties:Reads receiving scheduleSorts and places materials on docks according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeSortsgoods according to temperature zones.Marks materials with identifying informationRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedCommunicates with purchasing departmentTo operate forklift and pallet jackCommunicate with lumper, driver on unloading proceduresWeighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standardsUses computer to enter recordsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands: Required stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Frequently walk.Occasionally sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 poundsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Corporate Summary: At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first
