The Broadband Network Technician is responsible for detecting, troubleshooting and resolving system outages for data, video, and telephone. This role will be responsible for emergency restoration of coax, underground cable, maintenance of power supply, leakage and splicing. This role participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

This position will be based in Astounds Wilsonville, OR office, and would be an in office/field role.

A Day in the Life of the Broadband Network Technician:
Emergency coax restoration
Underground cable
Maintenance (power supply, actives)
Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation
2+ years experience as a Technician in the Telecommunications industry ( Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial ( HFC ) network experience preferred)
- Proficiency in problem-solving, time management, and basic computer skills
- Experience with power tools, reading and interpreting NIMS and AutoCAD maps
- Must possess a working knowledge of Ohm Law and Outside Plant operations
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record compliant with the company policy

High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications in Bucket Truck (OSHA, and Ladder Safety preferred)
