JOB DESCRIPTION - SPECIALTY FOOD BUYER The Specialty Food Buyer plays a crucial role in the retail trade industry by ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and at the right price. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 2 years of experience in Food buying in the retail industry is required Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inventory management and purchase order systems Familiarity with retail market trends and consumer behavior. Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
