We are seeking an experienced (1 year Veterinary experience required) Veterinary Client Service Representative to provide excellent patient and client care.Schedule: Full-time (36-38 hrs) opportunity. Flexible scheduling. Typically 4 shifts with rotating Saturdays.Compensation: Starting at $20Location: 16317 SE 82nd Drive, Clackamas ORVCA Hood View Animal Hospital is a 4 DVM, AAHA-accredited, small animal practice. We see cats and dogs six days a week for wellness and preventative care, acupuncture, dentistry, surgery, and more! We pride ourselves on making a personal connection with every client and pet. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.Scheduling and confirming appointments.Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all timesboth inside and outside.Benefits of joining the VCA Hood View Team!At VCA, we are committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity and strive to be a place where a talented mix of people want to come, stay, and do their best work.
