Job Description:
Legacy Health, a leading non-profit health system serving Oregon
and Washington, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Supplemental
Cardiologist to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role, the
cardiologist will provide top-tier cardiovascular care in a dynamic
and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be tasked with
delivering expert cardiac care during periods of peak demand or
when regular staff are unable to meet the ongoing patient needs.
This role requires a deep understanding of cardiological disorders,
treatment methods, and the latest in medical innovations in heart
health. Assess and manage patients with various cardiovascular
diseases. Provide consultation to other physicians and healthcare
staff. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs,
echocardiograms, and exercise tests. Formulate treatment plans and
follow up on patient progress. Participate in on-call rosters as
required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to
improve patient outcomes. Stay updated with advancements in
cardiology and integrate new practices into patient care. Strong
diagnostic capabilities in cardiovascular medicine. Proficient in
using medical diagnostic equipment relevant to cardiology. Ability
to work flexibly and adapt to varying demands. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Board-certified in
Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Valid medical license in the state of Oregon or Washington.
