Job Description:
Legacy Health, a prominent non-profit health system with
extensive facilities across Oregon and Washington, is seeking a
highly qualified Medical Director for its Cardiovascular Service
Line. This key role directs the strategy, growth, and clinical
quality initiatives for our comprehensive cardiovascular services.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the Medical Director
ensures exceptional care standards and fosters innovation in
treatment and patient care. This position requires a visionary
leader who combines clinical expertise with strategic acumen,
aligning with Legacy Health's mission to deliver compassionate and
exemplary healthcare. Develop and implement strategic plans and
quality initiatives for the cardiovascular service line. Lead,
recruit, and retain top-tier cardiovascular specialists and support
interdisciplinary team collaboration. Ensure the highest standards
of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor
and respond to developments in cardiovascular medicine, integrating
cutting-edge treatments and technologies. Collaborate with other
healthcare leaders to optimize patient outcomes and operational
efficiency. Manage budgeting and resource allocation for the
service line effectively. Represent the cardiovascular service line
in professional, public, and internal forums. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Expert knowledge in cardiovascular medicine
Skillful in strategic planning and implementation Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage teams and
foster a collaborative environment Proficient in healthcare
compliance and regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
