Our Project Manager / Technical Manager opening offers the opportunity to build a team right from day one. We are looking for a business or technically minded environmental compliance professional that enjoys mentoring, coaching and leading a team, someone that is up for a challenge to grow a business, and build off the successes of our established teams and services across all areas of the company.What You Will Be Doing At Woodard & Curran:This role will be expected to be a solid contributor within the compliance services team, and ideally will serve in a leadership position both technically as well as with clients. The major responsibilities for this position include oversight, preparation, and completion of technical reports and documents including: Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); Facility Response Plans; environmental compliance reports; environmental management system program audits; federal, state, and municipal permits; and standard operating procedures. The candidate should feel comfortable providing permit and regulatory compliance training to clients and have the ability to perform technical analyses and calculations.The ideal candidate should have project management and proposal experience and exhibit excellent written and oral skills. It is expected that the Project Manager will have experience identifying and capturing new project and client opportunities.What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • 8+ years of technical experience leading and performing environmental compliance tasks for commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.
  • B.S. degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or a related field (would also consider other educational background if the candidate has relevant experience).
